Matt Kirkwold
Composer, Engineer, Producer
Having produced dozens of records for bands across the U.S. (American Taxi, Throw the Fight, Baltimore), Matt officially broke into the national spotlight for his production of QuietDrive’s “When All That Was Left Is You” on Sony Records in 2006, which included a single that spent 27 weeks on the Billboard Top 40 charts. Most recently, Rocket Club, in which both Matt and Rumble partner Don Smithmier were members, charted nationally on the Billboard Country Charts with their song, “One More Day”.
A gifted writer, guitarist, and teacher, Matt has written and produced music that has appeared on MTV, ESPN, and CBS. His recent work for Rumble includes music in spots for Target, Macy’s and CVS.
Matt is one of Rumble’s many avid bicyclists, and leans towards the BMX end of the spectrum. He’s often heard chanting the words, “Let’s Launch Over It!”
